Our little Cowgirl

Ashlyn got to ride a horse with Uncle Brody. Ashlyn couldn't contain her excitement, with the giggles and grins! Brody owns two horses and boards a clydesdale. Ashlyn has always admired them from beyond the fence and occasionally they wander over to pet, so this was a real thrill for her when she actually got to climb on top!!!

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa K's

Ashlyn and I drove to my parent's house on Wednesday. Johnathan joined us on Friday. We (6 adults and two toddlers) all piled in one vehicle and headed to College Station to enjoy some Freebirds and Christmas Lights at Santa's Wonderland. If you haven't ever been, I highly recommend it! Brody, Courtney, and Ryley joined us on Christmas Eve night to open gifts. Ashlyn wasn't so much into unwrapping as playing with everything that had already been opened!

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa W's

We drove to Grandma and Grandpa W's early Christmas morning to find a yummy breakfast of Pancakes and Bacon waiting. Ashlyn did very well opening her gifts. The biggest hit was a container of sidewalk chalk!

Christmas at Ma Maw's and Paw Paw's

After Ashlyn's nap we headed to Ma Maw and Paw Paw's for a visit. To our surpise we got to see Johnathan's Great Aunt Helen. (Paw Paw's oldest sister). Ashlyn nor I had ever met her. We visited for a while and exchanged gifts. They got Ashlyn a shape sorter castle with little people that sit on top. That toy has been almost impossible to get out of her hands since we have been home.

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa H's

After leaving Ma Maw and Paw Paw's we headed to Grandma and Grandpa H's. Here we found all of Johnathan's Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins on Patti's side. We enjoyed a large feast and then opened gifts. Ashlyn finally got into unwrapping presents. She even unwrapped a few that weren't hers. Ashlyn was a little angel and was quite friendly with everyone. We had to cut our visit short though because she was running out of steam. Christmas Day was extremely busy for all of us.

Ashlyn's Best Friend

Ashlyn's best friend is Carey. This picture was taken mid-December while the girls were enjoying a book they found in the play area.

At least once a week, Stefany and I try to get the girls together to play. Most often we find ourselves at Chick-fil-A for breakfast, before the morning rush.

Ashlyn has learned alot from Carey. (Carey is 7 months older than Ashlyn.) Ashlyn's new favorite thing is "DIP". Carey gets "DIP", so Ashlyn has to have her "DIP" too!
