Jadyn can now go from a laying position and sit herself up! She can sit unassisted too! She can "army crawl", but hasn't quite figured out true crawling. She gets up on all fours and rocks for about 30 seconds and then nose dives! Bless her heart her little nose is nice and red!

Ashlyn has a Slumber Party
Ashlyn earned 20 more stickers. She chose to have Carey and Kendall over, however, Kendall wasn't able to make it. I went and picked Carey up on Saturday afternoon. When we arrived back in town, we picked up Johnathan and headed to CiCi's Pizza. (Ashlyn's request.) Then we drove to Winnie, Texas for their annual Rice Festival. Ashlyn had gone two nights before so she was a pro at all the rides. Her and Carey went on just about every ride that they met the height requirements for. They had a great time. We even were able to see a fireworks show while we were there. To quote Carey..."Mrs. Paige, they are so beautiful." When we arrived back in Beaumont, Johnathan built the girls a fort. This was a first for Ashlyn and she had a great time loading it up with ALL of her toys. The girls wanted Sally (our dog) to sleep with them. Sally will usually sleep in Ashlyn's bed with her, but since she only has a twin and it would be cramped sleeping quarters, we allowed the girls to sleep inside their fort. (It was in the living room.) I only wish I had taken a picture. Carey was sound asleep on one side, Ashlyn on the other, and Sal-dog in between. It was adorable.
Winnie Rice Festival
We took Ashlyn to the Winnie Rice Festival. She had a great time. We plan on bringing her back with her best friend Carey on Saturday night!

Visit to Grandma and Grandpa W's House
The girl's and I stopped by Patti and Tommy's Place on our way home. Ashlyn had a great time playing with her Grandpa and coloring with her Jennifer. She said at one point that it was "My Jenn". So Adorable! Grandpa bought Ashlyn a Hat and a souvenir from Minute Maid Park. She has enjoyed playing with them.

Visit to Grandma and Grandpa K's Farm
The girls and I headed to my Mom's for a long weekend. It was quite eventful. Of course we brought "Brother" with us to find a final resting place for him. We also had a surprise birthday party to attend for a close family friend. In addition to the usual "Play time" with Ryley! Ashlyn had a great time. Unfortunately, when we finally arrived back at our house, Ashlyn was running a fever of 102 and Jadyn had a slight fever of 100.6
Ashlyn Riding Dober. Brody called her a "Little Cow Girl" because she held on even though Dober got Spooked a couple of times.

This Picture is Just to Cute of My Brother, Brody and My Nephew Ryley.

Lake Charles Children's Museum
Daddy had the day off so we took the girls to the Children's Museum in Lake Charles. Ashlyn had a great time, and so did we!
Brother's Funeral
My dad dug a hole in a flowerbed next to the garage. Ashlyn placed "Brother" in the hole. She said she wanted to sing "Jesus Loves Me" and say a prayer. When I asked her what prayer she said "God is Good". So Mom, Dad, and I said "God is Great, God is Good, Let Us Thank Him for Our Food, Amen" My Parents and I had to hide our giggles.
After throwing one handful of dirt on him, she asked my dad to cover him with the remaining dirt. So he did, and then she placed his headstone on his grave. (A rock we took from our flowerbed in Beaumont.)
