Best Friends

Stefany, Carey, and Richard Glyn met Mom, the girls, and me at Willowbrook Mall. We allowed the kiddos to play for an hour and then we went to Freebirds. (YUM YUM YUM).

Carlee and Sidney Visit the Farm

On Thursday the 21st, Trocye, George, and Brandi brought their two girl's out. Carlee and Sidney played with Ashlyn while the adults got a chance to catch up. Again, Brody brought Dober out, and all the girls were able to ride him.

Grandpa's New Pool!!!

Grandpa decided to buy a giant horse trough. It was perfect for Ashlyn. She went swimming everyday at 4:00. She would stay out there for about a half an hour, before having to come inside to get ready for Vacation Bible School. (Reason we went to visit my parents.)

Ryley's Morning Visits

Brody would bring Ryley over every morning so the kids could play before he had to go to school. They both enjoyed playing with Grandma's scissors. (Kid scissors of course!) It's amazing how fast they have both picked up that skill!

Stefany and Carey visit Grandma's Farm

Stefany brought Richard Glyn and Carey out to my mom's house for the morning. The girls got to go on the zebra. (Down the big hill!) Then it was off to see the horses. The girls got to get in the pen with Toby. (A new colt, pictured.) My brother Brody brought Dober over so the girls could ride him. They did a great job and had a good time. They are naturals!!!

Visit to Carey's

The girls and I (I love saying that!) packed up Friday morning and headed out the door to go see Carey. We arrived and headed to their neighborhood pool. What a neat little place. Perfect for little kids! We stayed for about an hour and a half and then headed to Stefany's house. (Jadyn fell asleep shortly after arriving at the pool.)
We all changed clothes and then headed to a local Mexican restaraunt! When we finished with lunch, we headed back to Stefany's for a little bit to let the girls play with Carey's toys. Then the girls and I packed up and headed out the door to my parent's house.

Swimming at Franny's

Janna called and asked us to come swimming. We had a great time. It was nice to visit with my friends. Ashlyn had fun showing off all her new moves she learned in swim lessons! She has no fear!!!

Picnic at Roger's Park

We decided to take Ashlyn for a picnic. I packed us all a sandwich and some chips and we headed to Roger's Park. It is one of the many water spray parks here. She had a great time playing with all the kids.

Company Picnic

We took the girls to the company picnic on Saturday. They had crawfish, hamburgers, cotton candy, ice cream bars of all sorts. As you can imagine, Ashlyn was in heaven. After we ate...she enjoyed playing outside with her Daddy and her friends Maddie, and Alexander. She even saw one of her friends from school. (Her daddy works with Johnathan.)
