On Monday we Headed Home.

Johnathan is now working nights, so we headed home on Monday morning. We were able to see him for a few hours before he had to go to work. We all sure did miss him! The girls had a great time at my parent's place. Here are a few more photos I took while we were there!
Ashlyn spent hours on my parent's Play Set.

Another Big hit is the Sand on Grandpa's Porch!

Jadyn loves playing Peek-A-Boo

Jadyn Loved Getting in and out of Mom's Storage Bins

And of Course...Ashlyn couldn't say no to a Horse Ride on Dori!

Grandma bought a "Dingy Bike". Ashlyn called it her "Dingy Bike" because it went "Ding...Ding" It has a bell on it.

Jadyn loves books!!!

Ashlyn enjoyed helping my mom with yard work!

But...her Favorite thing to do was to help Grandma clean out the Stalls!

Easter Sunday

We took the girls to church, and then met my brother and his family at Mike's for Pancakes. When we arrived back at my parent's house, the kids changed clothes and we headed outside for our very own Egg hunt! Jack the dog got into quite a few of the eggs while my Dad was hiding them! He left all the eggs that had the raisins in them!!!

Stopped to See Carey

We actually did this on the way out to my mom's. It has been way too long in between visits! I'm hoping gas prices go down soon, so we can make more trips out to see them!

Daddy Visits!

Johnathan came out to visit me the girl's Easter Dresses for church. He flew kites with the kids and helped them catch a Bunch of Fish!

Easter Eggstravaganza

Since we are still at my mom's, we took the girls to their church for an Easter Celebration. It was really nice. They had a pancake breakfast, a coloring contest(Ashlyn Won the 3 year old age group.), and of course an Easter Egg Hunt! Ashlyn has become friends with a couple of the girls there. (She is in the nursery with them during church on Sundays, when we come for a weekend.)

Ashlyn Accepting Her Prize!

Jadyn's First Horse Ride!

Jadyn loved her first horse ride. She was all smiles and squeals of delight. Brody is so good with our girls. And this horse Dori, is the most gentle creature.

Pictures of Jadyn

She is taking after her sister and will hardly ever look at the camera. I took over 100 pictures of Jadyn...and only these turned out.

Ashlyn Scares Us Again!

Ashlyn woke up Monday morning throwing up and running a fever of 102. I was sure we were headed to the ER again for the CVS (cyclical vomitting syndrome), that they are predicting that she has. A few hours later her fever reached 103.6 which really concerned me! So we called her doctor in Beaumont and he suggested we take her to an urgent care. We took the 40 minute drive to reach one. She threw up again in the waiting room. When we finally got to see the doctor, she did a full exam on Ashlyn.
When she looked in her ears...she saw something metal in her right ear. She asked Ashlyn if she had put anything in her ear. Ashlyn said no. The doctor left the room to get some things to try to remove it. I asked Ashlyn if she had put anything in her ear. She said yes. She said, "it was one of those things you put on your ears all the time that are really pretty. I tried to put it on, and it fell in. I have been trying to get it out everynight and everyday." Come to find out, it was a rhinestone, (about the size of my pinky finger nail) that I use for my picture frames. By the looks of it, it has been in there sometime. She prescribed us an antibiotic, since she has a severe ear infection as a result.

Within hours of its removal...she perked up considerably and the fever disappeared. However later that night, she woke me up saying she had to go to the bathroom. She was shaking uncontrollably and had a fever of 104.7! I immediately gave her medicine and put her in a bath to cool her off. It came down to 104. When she wasn't in the bath, she was laying in her bed, trembling, with me wiping her face and neck with a cold cloth. After three hours we got her fever down to 102. I let her go to sleep, (no more waking her up with temperature checks.) She woke up the next morning feeling like a champ! No fever since!!!

Visiting Ryley and Brenlee

The girls and I headed to my parent's house this past Thursday. Houston is on Spring Break right now, so we decided to take advantage of the kids being home, so Ashlyn could spend sometime playing with her cousins. She has had a great time while here.
