Ashlyn was so excited to wake up and hear Carey's voice in the hallway. They both yelled each other's names and gave the other a hug. Stefany and I tried to prevent them from giving each other a kiss....but we couldn't get them separated in time. Now Stefany has a close eye on Carey to make sure she isn't showing any symptoms. It was nice to see Ashlyn happy while they were there.
My friend Liz stopped by for an hour or so and visited with me and read some books to Ashlyn. She managed to get Ashlyn to drink something and eat some crackers, which was a great accomplishment.
We want to thank everyone for their phone calls and offers to help us out.
