Labor Day Weekend with the Q Family

We had a great time Labor Day weekend at Galveston. Surprisingly....Stewart Beach was very nice, although quite crowded. Johnathan said he could even see his toes standing in chest high water. This is rare...since you typically can't see your feet as soon as it approaches your mid shin. It was overcast most of the day so it was quite comfortable. The kids had a great time and of course were down early for bed as a result. It was a jammed packed weekend of fun.

One night, the B family came and met us for a fajita dinner. The kiddos got to swim and play. It's always good to hang out with our friends. It's sad that they are so far away and are visits aren't more frequently. We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends!!!

Here are a few additional pictures that we took while we were at the park. We grilled hot dogs and had a little picnic. It really was a good time and the weather wasn't too hot.

While we were visiting, we also went and listened to a live band and ate Bar-B-Que. Everyone had a great time! (The band was pretty good too!)
