Big Bad Water Leak...and a Happy New Years

On New Years Eve johnathan gave the girls a bath and noticed the grout lines were wet in their bathroom. So he looked outside the window to see water pooling up in the flower bed out front. He went outside and moved some landscaping rocks to allow the standing water to drain. Only problem was....it kept draining and draining and draining!!! So New Years Eve johnathan spent the majority of the dy searching for a water leak! Still not knowing if a line had broken under the house or just under the flower bed. (we knew it wasn't in the walls since there was no water seeping out of the weep holes.). Finally on New Years Day around 10:45 am he located the pipe and the leak!!! Fortunately, my awesome hubby is super handy and was able to fix this busted pipe that was 4 feet in the ground! (it was so cold outside and he was having to lay down in cold wet mud! To make it worse he's been sick the last week with head and chest congestion....so I know having your head in a hole in the ground had to have been miserable!). Our yard looked like a bomb exploded out front by the girls bathroom, as he had to dig up about 5 bushes to locate it! He and a buddy managed to put it all back together so it's presentable from the street. He still has landscaping rocks blocking our front door, but they can stay there until he gets to feeling better!!!
